Dear Members, Partners, and Visitors,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of IAAS Nepal. As a part of the global IAAS network, we take pride in being a vibrant platform where young minds come together to innovate, lead, and contribute to the transformation of agriculture and rural development.

Our journey has been driven by the commitment to empower young minds, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and bridge the gap between academia and the real-world challenges in the agricultural sector. Through initiatives like the Women in Agriculture Project, Village Concept Project, No Food Waste projects, and numerous workshops, seminars, and exchanges, we aim to create a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Over the years, IAAS Nepal has achieved remarkable milestones, including winning multiple global project competitions. Our projects span diverse themes, reflecting our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment. Some of our notable projects include:

• Women in Agriculture Projects: Sweet Solution, Sow and Grow, Heliciculture: A Hope to be Flourished, Grihini (From Kitchen to a New Hope), and Tapari for Change Makers.
• No Food Waste Projects: Banenthu, Golden Grower, and Trichovermi.
• Village Concept Projects: Trash to Treasure and Uplift Mahuwari Village.

A special highlight is IAAS Nepal’s triumph with the project Trash to Treasure in the Youth Food Lab, World Food Forum (WFF) held in Rome, Italy, in 2024. This achievement underscores the global recognition of our innovative approaches to addressing food and environmental challenges.

Currently, we are actively implementing impactful projects across our local committees; Trash to Treasure, Trichovermi, Sow and Grow, and Sweet Solution.
